Getting the Funds

To get to China, Project Trust gave a target sum of £4950. This covers the cost of most of the year, including flights, medical and baggage insurance, training and the support I will recieve whilst in China. Whilst in China, I will recieve a small living expence covering essentials, accomodation and food.

To raise this sum of money, over the past year I have carried out a variety of fundraisers, both big and small - every little counts when you add it all up!

Thankyou to everyone who has helped in some way, whether it was through donations, helping with the fundraisers or attending the fundraisers. I couldn't have got there without everyones help.

With a good bottle of wine as the prize, the parents of the children who were interested i...

A great way to get the fundraising started was to do a guess the Bears Birthday. It got the funds started, and got me into the money raising spirit. I carried out this fundraiser just before Christmas, when people would have been looking for presents, and would be willing to pay a pound for the chance of a fantastic prize.
