I got back to school with a new timetable and new classes of the grade below what I was teaching before the holiday. I've no been teaching for the past 4 weeks so i'm starting to know my classes a bit better. My students are really good, but its so hard explaining things to them, a years age difference makes a huge change in the understanding, last terms classes new what  I was saying nearly always straight away, but now giving instructions is like how you'd give young kids instructions, but at the same time i dont want to treat them like little kids. It's hard to get the balance but I'm getting better, with lots of games and pictures the lessons are more fun for them and they're hopefully picking up some new things, and if not, their confidence will hopefully build up. Walking around the school, I get lot's of "hello teacher"s, or should I say "lǎoshī hǎo"s, and lots of my old students come over and talk to me when they see me, which is always nice.
