After an over night stay in Bangkok we then took our forth flight from Bangkok to Phuket, a  3 hour ferry jorney then 20 minutes on a long boat, till we finally arrived on Koh Phi Phi Island.  The resort we were staying at was on a more rural area of the island, away from the tourist area. We had a long white beach lined with turqoise waters, palm trees with hamocks and little wooden beach huts all to ourselves (pluss the others staying on the resort), so it was very peaceful.

Lots of swimming in the sea, relaxing on the beach, swinging in hammocks and snorkeling to see all the little fish, not forgetting all the banana milkshakes day after day. To get away from the resort we headed on a tour to the surrounding islands, Mosquito Island, Monkey Island (where off course we saw monkeys), Bamboo  Island, and the Islands where the film "The Beach" was filmed. We also got taken out to do open sea snorkeling, which was amazing, saw so many different kinds of fish from tiny little ones with stripes, to rainbow coloured fish, to yellow and black stripped ones, saw some angel fish as well.

A short trek up a jungle mountain next to the beach and we came out at a viewpoint across the island, looking out onto bright turquoise seas, it was gorgeous, definitely worth the climb.

It was a lovely beach we were on, definitely ready to go walking the cities now, all relaxed up.
