Kuitun is know as a small town, but to me it's a large town. Although the buildings don't have much Character, the town makes up for it with its tree lined streets and many markets. On my way to school I cycle , through a small outdoors market selling fresh fruit and veg, then down a winding road lined with trees and flowers, then through a big indoor market lined with fresh bread stalls, which smell amazing, freshly cooked chicken stands, stir fry stands and all the essential spices and ingredients. Earlier in the day the place is crouded with trayler bikes filled with their fresh veg and fruit which taste better than what you get in a normal supermarket. The place is always filled with amazing smells of foods, and at lunchtime crouds of people gather. On the way back after school I quite often pass little old men with their bikes pulling along cages of chickens ready to be sold. There's been a couple of times when my heads turned as people have casualy wondered past with a live goose in their hand dangling by its neck.
