![]() | Established in 1967, Project Trust has had over 40 years experience and have sent over 6000 volunteers to over 60 countries. Project Trust is an educational charity, sending school leavers taking a gap year, to work voluntarily for either 8 or 12 month placements. Project Trust has a variety of different projects - teaching, social care, journalism and outward bounds - over 20 countries through Asia, Africa and the Americas. Project Trust aims to provide their volunteers with an educational expeirience through living and working with people in communities verry different to those which they have grown up in. Project Trust is very careful that volunteers do not take away work from the local people, and that the volunteers provide extra help ontop of what is already in place. Project Trust provide a great deal of support to their volunteers.
